Botanical Name: Citrus junos Sieb. ex Tanaka |
Country of Origin: Japan |
Method of Extraction: Most yuzu oils on the market are distilled. Yuzu is one of the very few citrus that is difficult to extract by cold-pressing. The aroma of distilled yuzu oil lacks the depth and body found in cold-pressed yuzu oil. Our rare and very special cold-pressed yuzu oil retains its distinctive rich citrus aroma profile making it such a precious oil. |
Aroma Profile: The cold expression oil is a mobile, yellowish to orange-yellow oil with an exquisite fresh-citrus and sweet odour. The scent is described as somewhere between grapefruit, mandarin, and orange, with subtle overtones of bergamot and lime, with a pleasing subtle floral note. |
Uses: Yuzu oil is purifying and stimulating. It encourages awareness, and clarity of thought and is emotionally invigorating. |
Subtle: The sweet, exotic floral scent of ylang ylang is passionate, sensuous and uplifting. It promotes self-confidence and feelings of peace. |
Chakra: Solar plexus chakra |
Skin Care: May be used for the treatment of congested, devitalized, and oily skin. |
