This module is highly beneficial for those who seek an understanding of the issues that will be of importance to a mother-to-be during pregnancy, specifically the development of her unborn child. Learning to work with a mother-to-be is an amazing part of being an aromatherapist specialising in ante and post natal care.
Module 2 - Using Essential Oils as part of a Holistic Client Care Plan
This impressive module introduces you to the wide range of therapeutic uses of essential oils for many pregnancy-related symptoms for the mother-to-be, including morning sickness and fatigue.
This module is structured to provide you with the necessary tools to be able to formulate a holistic client care plan, taking into consideration stages of pregnancy development and what the mother-to-be will likely experience.
Module 3 - Stages of Labour and Post-Labour
Working with mothers-to-be will mean having a sound understanding of the stages of labour to adequate assist them during this special time.
This module offers valuable advice in maintaining reasonable comfort and relaxation during a labour process that is oftentimes gruelling, and how aromatherapy can assist the mother and child during labour and after it.
Module 4 - Aromatherapy and Post-Natal Care
Using this module as a practical guide for the post-natal care of mother and child, this module will explore topics relevant to this phase of a new mother's life, including post-natal depression, aromatherapy for the health and wellbeing of the new mother, and basic baby care after birth.
The assessment is optional for this course though it is required if you wish to obtain your certificate.
